How the studio works, step by step.
Made for artists of every age — twelve and way beyond. Here is the whole studio in eight tiny steps.
1. Share your art
Upload a drawing, painting, collage, or photo. It snaps to card size all by itself.
2. Fill in the back
Add your artist name, the theme, and the date. Short and sweet.
3. Ask for a hint
Stuck on a theme or a description? Tap the magic buttons for ideas.
4. Flip your card
Tap any card to peek at its back. Tap again to flip it back.
5. Keep your binder
Your cards live on three shelves: Vault, Trading, and Made by Me.
6. Visit the gallery
Wander through cards other artists and photographers have made.
7. Offer a swap
Love a card? Propose a trade. Both artists say yes before anything moves.
8. Hold it for real
Download a print-ready card, print both sides, and keep it in your hand.
A friendly tip: there is no wrong way to start. Make one card, flip it a few times, and the rest will make sense as you go.

Where the next
generation of creatives belongs.
Some of the boldest artists and photographers in our collection are still in school. Junior Studio gives every young creative a real place to show work, make a first swap, and connect with someone who notices the details. Early encouragement is not a small thing — it is how curiosity becomes a practice, and a practice becomes a creative life.
So we make room for young creatives — and we build that room with walls. The safeguards beside this page are not a barrier to their creativity. They are the reason a young person can share a drawing, painting, collage, or photograph with pride and hear back only from supportive peers.
Protecting kids and celebrating them are not opposites here. The safety is what lets the art be free.
A table of peers
Junior members share circles, trades, and private notes only with other Junior members. An adult account can never message or trade with a young artist — the studio will not allow the pairing.
A grown-up in the loop
A parent or guardian approves the membership before community features unlock, so someone trusted always knows where their young creative is sharing and who they are connecting with.
Words with a guardrail
Feedback arrives as preset reactions and Two Stars and a Wish. No open comment box, no anonymous pile-on — just specific, constructive encouragement.
No public age, no pressure
We show which studio you belong to, never a birth date, school, or neighbourhood. Young artists keep a pen name, a private binder, and full control of their work.
