How swapping works
A swap circle is a small group of artists who can see one another’s available cards and propose trades. Nothing moves unless both artists agree.
Choose an existing circle in your studio, or start one around a theme you enjoy.
Mark a card in your binder as available, then propose it for another artist’s available card.
The other artist can accept or decline. A trade happens only when both artists want it.
Your swap circles
Junior and Main Studio circles are kept separate. You can only see, message, and trade with artists in your own studio.
Sign in to join a swap circle
Once you join, you can see available cards and send a trade proposal. You always decide whether to accept.
Junior Studio · Ages 12–17
Some of the boldest artists in our collection are still in school. Junior Studio exists so a young maker gets what every artist deserves: a real place to show work, a first swap, and someone who notices the details. Early encouragement is not a small thing — it is how a hobby becomes a practice, and a practice becomes a life in art.
So we make room for young artists — and we build that room with walls. The safeguards beside this page are not a barrier to their creativity. They are the reason a twelve-year-old can post something she is proud of and hear back only from peers who mean it.
Protecting kids and celebrating them are not opposites here. The safety is what lets the art be free.
Junior members share circles, trades, and private notes only with other Junior members. An adult account can never message or trade with a young artist — the studio will not allow the pairing.
A parent or guardian approves the membership before community features unlock, so someone trusted always knows where their artist is creating and who they are creating with.
Feedback arrives as preset reactions and Two Stars and a Wish. No open comment box, no anonymous pile-on — just specific, constructive encouragement.
We show which studio you belong to, never a birth date, school, or neighbourhood. Young artists keep a pen name, a private binder, and full control of their work.
Positive card feedback
Card conversations use thoughtful prompts instead of an open comment box.
Two separate praises and one kind, creative tip.
